Protest with us at the United Nations- This Week!

11 years ago, governments at the UN committed to halving hunger by 2015. At that time, there were 800 million hungry people across the globe. Today, 854 million are hungry.

And 25,000 people are dying a day because of hunger.

Much of this is about politics, apathy, and corporate greed. Protesters from more than 9 countries will be outside of the United Nations at Ralph Bunch Plaza every day from 1:00-3:00PM September 18th - 21st to ensure the voices of the hungry are heard. Please feel free to join us, even for an hour.

Ralph Bunche Plaza is at 1st Avenue, between 42nd and 43rd Streets, in Manhattan, NY.

The protest isn’t going to be huge, since Bunch Plaza isn’t huge, and because of that, every voice counts. The protest will be held during lunch time, when the UN delegates leave the building. We’ll be right across the street from the front entrance.  Hope to see you there.
